What is the 酒店管理 program?

The Mission of the 酒店管理 Program is to prepare students for supervisory positions in a variety of departments within the hotel industry, including front office, 餐饮, 销售, 客人服务, 管家, 食品和饮料, 和其他人.

What's special about the program?

The program provides a variety of opportunities to interact with industry professionals or to meet potential employers via panel discussions, 演讲嘉宾, 实地考察旅行, 人才招聘会往往会, and industry-hosted events. There are numerous opportunities for “on property/hands-on/field” experience via practicums and out-of-class assignments. The program also prides itself in giving back to the community and profession by participating in industry functions such as golf tournaments, 贸易展览, property competitions, 午宴, and a variety of community service activities.

 The tourism industry has an estimated $19 billion impact on 圣安东尼奥's economy.

  1. Identify and apply the knowledge and skills necessary for hospitality and tourism operations.
  2. Develop and integrate a core set of business skills necessary to successfully operate a hospitality and tourism organization.
  3. Demonstrate competence in the communication skills necessary for hospitality and tourism management.
  4. Formulate business decisions in hospitality and tourism management. 
  5. Evaluate leadership principles necessary in the diverse and global hospitality and tourism industry.
